Kerr Stuart – SKYLARK

A Kerr Stuart SKYLARK at Snailbeach

Kerr, Stuart was known for producing a number of standard designs with many engines being built for stock and sold ‘off the shelf’ to customers. The names of these locomotive types were often derived from the purchaser of the first of that type or from the name it was given.

In House, laser cut, acrylic –
Chassis (Frames & Buffer-Beams)
Cab Components

And –
3D Printed Boiler & Boiler Parts
Frame spacers, cylinders & motion

(We recommend the use of dichloromethane for the acrylic cab pieces)

This kit comes complete with the necessary 3D printed parts, along with wheels, motor & gears. Also included are all the metal parts required for axle bearings, slide-bars, etc. Together with all the screws, nuts and bolts need to complete your model.
All you need to complete the kit is glue (I recommend a Superglue), paint and a filler (body filling is not necessary, but does improve the finish of the model).

I print the kits to order and this can take four to six weeks depending on the workload at the time of ordering. Once payment has been made, your order will be processed and you will receive an email once the kit is printed and ready to dispatch.
